Can DS-3032 be sent in using the electronic format from Nigeria to get our case going quicker or do we have to send in the signed hard copy of the document?

I heard some yes's and no's. A concrete answer would be very helpful!

call the NVC they can give you the correct answer. 603 334 0700. And I can tell you from experience, our case was 100% electronic for the entire process, electronic does not mean faster in terms of the NVC , being electronic seemed to make our case move more slowly, it was like they didn't know how to open email wacko.gif

If you're referring to emailing the DS-3032, then yes, anyone can do that, even those in Nigeria. But that's the only thing you can email from Nigeria. Please refer to the wiki about it here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form Remember, by doing it this way, there is NO printing, NO signing, NO scanning, NO attaching. All you have to do is send an email with the information explained in the wiki.

Okay...I just saw this answer! :bonk: (and I just posted it again in the JULY NVC forum! Sorry...) Maybe the answer will help the group!

Anywho, that's another peice of paper I can have removed from the FedEx package my husband is forwarding tomorrow. The lighter it is, the less it will cost! Thanks for this answer!

I had Divine scan in and email his passport bio pages. I printed them out in color. Even with all this, it is still less than one pound and can be put in a FedEx document envelope. I'm not sure how much it is going to run yet. Divine is sending his tomorrow so I will let you know for sure.

The rest of the list is correct. If you have a joint bank account in Nigeria, see if you husband can get you a letter stating that fact, joint housing/apartment...same thing. I have a letter from my bank in the US stating I brought in my marriage certificate and changed my name on my bank account on whatever date. I tried to add my husband, but due to C.U. rules he has to be present in the U.S. for them to add him. However, he has been added as the sole beneficiary of my accounts. SIgned and notorized by a bank officer. I also took out life insurance with him as the sole beneficiary.
