Hi Guys,

I tried to find the post of questions for Parents immigrating to US but was not able to find one. Can you please help me in this.

I am a US Citizen applied for GC for my parents, I-864 has been completed by NVC and DS-230 is in review with NVC. Does someone have any experience what questions parents would be asked during their interview. I am self employed and my income was low as per I-864P. So i had a co-sponsoror who had filled out I-864 to help. His 864 form has been accepted by NVC. What do my parents tell if they were asked about my income, how I am going to support them if my income is not enough to support my family. Also any additional questions asked during their interview. I came to US and was out of status for one year, waiting for GC wife to get naturalized. Finally became US Citizen last year and have to 2 kids who are born USC.

All your help is greatly appreciated.

without the support quedtions they shd be fine as my mom was only asked "who is filing for her" "where does she stay in the U.S" and then "congratulations'. Your paretns age and any medical condition that cld be financially tasking for you may play a role if not they shd be fine...thats why they make provisions for cosponsors right? just make sure ur parents can explain the relationship with the person offering to co sponsor. all the best
