Hi everybody, I'm about to start the process of AOS for both of my parents. They overstayed their B2. I have the package almost ready. The medical examination is my concern, how did you guys do it? How do i send it? How did you guys do the translation of documents? For the affidavit do I send the tax transcripts or pay stubs? My parents have been filling taxes with their ITIN, do I send copies of them? To what form should I attach them?

If anybody has gone through this process can please post or pm their experience and/or docs provided to USCIS, assembly of package.

One more thing, I know that two separate petitions need to be filed, but can they be sent in the same package?

Their examinations need to be done with a civil surgeon. Check the USCIS website to find a local one. That CS will fill out and seal the I-693.

Best to include tax transcripts and most recent paystubs.

You can translate documents yourself if you are fluent in both languages and include a statement certifying that you have done so and fluently speak both languages.

Not sure about including their taxes or sending in one packet, sorry.

The middle of this page shows the certificate of translation that you need to attach to translated documents: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD

What are your parents paying taxes on? Since they're not authorized to work, you can't count their income toward your affidavit of support and you don't need their tax returns.

Separate the separate petitions using rubber bands or large clip fasteners (alligator clips), per the tip on the link above.

So I can mail the petitions together in the same envelope but separated by rubber bands. Thank you for your input

When did you actually file, when did you receive the RFE, and how long did it take to respond? Have you gotten the EAD or AP yet? Probably nothing to worry about - once you respond you still have to wait out the normal (often slow) processing timeline.
