Here is our dilemna. We have our approval validity up until to 09/15/2012.

Based on this our interview should be in september. My fiancee is trying to work and save up for a while before moving here plus we have a customary wedding in May 2013. We want to extend the K1 process from the notice till say January 2013. That way when we are approved for the visa in January or visa, she will not make the POE in May 2013.

I understand you can extended the approval notice up to a year? IS this correct? I send the consulate an email about this. We also kind of filled out the online portion of the packet 3 but havent send in the information in the mail yet. Will all this make a difference?

Thanks for your help in advance.
