Well yes, Obamacare isn't good enough but it's a step in the right direction towards the single payer system. If the Republicans had their way the previous system would stay in place in years to come putting more and more Americans out of access to health care services.

I believe the Republicans were pushing for healthcare reform before any thoughts about a universal healthcare plan. Would a universal healthcare system ever be enacted by the Republicans in the future, I'm not sure. But what Obamacare does is it takes a somewhat broken and overly expensive healthcare system and makes it much, much bigger.

I live in Mass and we have seen the effects of what this healthcare plan costs, at last check the state was over $5 billion in debt and mostly due to the costs of this healthcare mandate. It has proven to cost far more than what was originally projected. And the same is in store for the entire US now.

That amount is peanuts compared to what this country can spend on two wars. If you can find money to kill people you can find money to help people.

Using that logic we might as well open the barn doors and just give it all away. Where did the money come from to fight those two wars? Oh that's right it hasn't come from anywhere yet, we are trillions of dollars in debt because of them. The Chinese now own our arses because of it and our children and grandchildren will be paying for it for a very long time to come. I'm sure you've heard that two wrongs don't make a right?

Using that logic if you owed a group of people $15 (representing our $15 trillion debt) and I was a part of that group but only owed you $1 out of $15....You would say I owned you. 1/15 is not even 7%.

Japan holds almost the same as China. How come you don't say Japan owns our arses?

JAPAN'S U.S. debt holdings: $1.083 trillion A major US trade partner, Japan holds a huge amount of American debt, and has traditionally been one of the US's largest debt holders, currently owning $1.083 trillion of treasury securities.

CHINA'S U.S. debt holdings: $1.169 trillion The largest foreign holder of US Treasury securities, China posesses $1.169 trillion in American debt, although it is down from all time highs of $1.314 trillion in July 2011.

Being fairly well off, a Republican victory would be most advantageous to me. A lot of my income is dividends and capital gains (15% tax ) - and most of that is avoided by various strategies

Instead, I want the best for the majority of my fellow Americans, so I'm voting Dem - much in the way (but opposite) that my poverty-stricken mother used to vote with the bosses

Looks like I am going to get my wish and I wont get my tax cut to 10 cents per annum after all

However, I wont have to step over americans dying in pain and losing their houses and savings - so that will be some consolation

A Republican reading this will not be able to comprehend why I should vote against my own financial interests to help people who see me as a foreigner who lives on warm beer and boiled mutton and as a religious heretic.

That is because they have the 'cold' gene and lack the 'human' gene

They cannot be changed any more than a turtle can be trained to jump hurdles, so they must be systematically destroyed (politically)

Time for the government to print out more fake money.

That would make the worth of repayments lower for people who owe

That would be a hit on the lenders, many of whom are British banks

Now do you want to print more money ?

Cato didn't really have anything nice to say about the Robert's decision.

I thought the explanation was that Roberts had been made mentally ill by drugs to control his seizures

When did it change to "He has been bribed by Braako"

If he was under the influence of drugs injected into him by the Kenyan Secret Service, will the new revolutionaries of the South Carolina Imperial Wizardry, excuse him from execution on those grounds ? (at the conclusion of the 2012 revolution)

There is a movement afoot to nullify PPACA one state at a time. Interesting times await us... they want to decentralize this country and the Left has assumed that's a bad thing. It may not be.
