So, my wife's IR-1 visa interview was yesterday and everything went absolutely awesome. They were about 1 hour late gettign to us, but she was in and out of the visa interview room in a matter of 10 minutes and the interviewer didn't even ask me to come into the room. They only asked her the most basic questions:

"Where was your wedding?"

"What do you plan to do in the US for work?"

"Have you or your husband ever been arrested?"

The interviewer was a little confused, as we did a DCF, but the DCF laws changed a year ago, so he was wondering why they had certain pieces of paperwork (i.e. my wife's birth certificate). My wife said the guy wasn't too friendly and didn't really seem like he wanted to do the interview, but in the end when got the white card with her passport and visa pickup date on it and that's all that mattered.

We will be in the U.S. on July 12th!!!! :)
