A large number of the projected newly insured under ACA was to happen by the expansion of Medicaid.

Congress attached language to the bill that amounted to "an offer you can't refuse" to the states.

SCOTUS just threw that out.

My prediction: GOP-run states opt out of the Medicaid expansion.

New Jersey already did, even though the legislature decided to opt-in. Christie wins again.

Roberts made them sell their liberal souls for his vote. Beyond having them endorse the solid right position on the commerce clause he made them agree to renounce their one realistic route to actual single payer, the universal expansion of medicaid. Whether this is an Ender or sucker move remains to be seen, but the chief justice did not join the liberals for free.
