He really should consider wearing his pants below his blubber, not across it.

There is no 'below' apart from his shoes and they a fat too

The voters in this state don't care that he's fat. They care that he's mean and they like it.

How come it doesn't work for you ?

He's definitely mean, I'll give him that.

What kind of electorate elect a man who can't control his own cake hole and revels in being mean ?

Oh well at least he is storing carbon which otherwise would be a contributor to global warming

When he dies the polar bears are finished

Are our politicians a reflection of ourselves ?

A majority of voters voted for barry so perhaps Americans are smart and fit after all

We can only hope the same number of people vote for him this time around, I hope I can be included in the vote, the thought of that is quite exciting! They just introduced a law here that you have to have an ID to vote, this is bound to cause problems for the poorer people of this state who live in rural areas and don't have access to their local DMV.

One of the reasons we just moved to Wisconsin was we were in a deep red neck area in Washington State and we wanted to be in a swing State where our votes would count

My neighbors in Washington State (East as in almost Idaho) would talk openly about machine-gunning illegal immigrant children in the Rio Grande and man they meant it. The gun club had photos of Moslem women as targets !

These RWNJ's make me shudder and although they pride themselves in being haters, I think their opposition is rising to the challenge in that department

Wow. My husband and I almost moved to Washington state, we were warned to stay on the west of the mountains to avoid those types. In the end we decided we would rather stay in Mississippi. You'd think those kind of comments only come from dixie. I have heard the n-bomb a number of times, which I detest, but I've never heard anyone allude to killing anyone, that's scary.

East is East and West is West in Washington State.

It's a superb climate - not too hot (15% humidity) and not too cold.

property tax for a NICE house is 3k

No Income tax !

Utility bills $38 per month (all electric) (hydro dams)

Lovely people so long as you are white, and very right wing and godly

Charles would love it - actually I could sell him a house there !

My husband lived in WA many years ago so we thought we would give it a try. We went to Olympia, and wow. I thought the capital would amount to more than that, we live in a more happening place than Olympia! The people were mostly nice in Seattle and its surroundings but it was so bland and very expensive. There didn't seem to be any element of danger up there at all, I guess that's a good thing, if you're a complete sissy. We met this poor girl in a store who was moving to New Orleans to work in an inner city school. I wonder if she survived that, poor girl didn't know what she was letting herself in for.

$38 power bills? That's crazy, they're $200+ in the summer here. What about in the winter?

Winter is double at its worst but the dams produce so much cheap power that they pay the aluminum smelters to take it !

Over the mountains is totally different to Olympia or Seattle. As different as Georgia and Massachusetts except they have the same State Laws !

Apart from the politics and the isolation, it's great

Getting to Seattle over the cascades in winter can be impossible and I don't mean difficult

I am glad I did 4 years there and there were some great people so long as I put my shooting ears on when they got political about them N words in the white house

A lot of militia types come from that area including the Unabomber and last year's Spokane bomber

The politics you speak of is really very surprising. The north west is always portrayed as such a wonderful place that is wholesome and progressive. Have you found it better in Wisconsin?

The people on the East of the Cascades think of themselves as more Idaho than Washington state

Weirdly, Wisconsin doesn't feel as friendly. Can't quite understand why. The gun club treats me like I have come from outer space but Washington state made me their buddies on day one

Could be the locals include 40,000 students and they have their own culture

The property tax is 6k and there is 6.5% State Tax so that's awful compared to Washington State

I did a winter here some years ago and its totally vicious. Washington state was slightly below freezing for 3 months but this place goes waaaaay down

They have some great beers in Wisconsin - hopalicious and lake louis. I seriously dislike regular US beers but these are superb.

Chicago is my gateway to the world and it takes 2.5 hrs to Florida where I was last week - so its an ok base

I'm jealous of your cheese selection! :P

I don't remember the last time I experienced a temperature below freezing, we didn't have a winter last year. Most people are pretty jolly here, maybe the cold weather makes them grumpy.

Regular US beer is garbage, what's the point in drinking ultra light beer? Might as well have a glass of water.

That's another thing that made us stay here, 2 hours drive to Florida and the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. How can anyone want to leave that behind?
