Along with the Industrial Revolution?

I'd love to go there, as long as I can avoid Boston, that accent drives me crazy.

And did those feet in ancient time

Walk upon New England's mountains green?

Don't worry about accents, they're all Cockney to me.

South of the Vermont border we say Wicked Pissah!

Then the Anglofolks wouldn't understand, not that they're chuckleheads or anything.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

For someone who pretends to be a stickler for the proper use of the English language, you should know that.

I blame the spell checker. Referring was the word I wanted.

ETA: Although I do enjoy the occasional Georgia peach.

but they also have timbits!

Tim Hortons coffee on the Canadian side is the best coffee I've ever had! For some reason the coffee on the American side just doesn't taste the same. I thought my wife was crazy when she told me Tim Hortons had the best coffee, but she was spot on!

Ugh this thread has turned into such a tease. I miss my french vanilla cappucinos and bagels with herb and garlic cream cheese.

Dunkin Donuts should take some lessons from Tim Hortons. I've never understood the fascination with Dunkin Donuts here, I think they're terrible.

I have heard of trying to fit in with the host community, but wouldn't wearing a Texan hat be healthier than trying to get to 300 lbs like the rest of em ?
