You don't even know that the British Armed Forces reviled Churchill and voted him out in a landslide election at the end of the war

The british armed forces have their own elections?

Or would you be confusing the armed forces with the larger electorate?

The British armed forces fought for a better life - Churchill wanted more war - against Russia this time

The Military said no and their families said no and the population as a whole said NO

No warmongers

Houses/healthcare/education

This of course is the opposite of what the rightos want

they want WAR and NO Co-operation or reciprocal help in society

ps Chamberlain was a CONSERVATIVE not a wet liberal

You post like a politician in a Fox News debate. Talking point after talking point, never an actual response.

oh, that sounds positively delightful!

it was actually funny .... then they showed me how i was supposed to eat ...

they really needed to practice the plate stab motion a little more. i suggested they practice that particular up/down motion in privacy for better results ...

we had a good laugh .... and the beer was good

Looks like this has petered out and left just the usual sickos to play and talk about backsides and human excrement and throw mis-spelled obscenities around etc etc...

Every good politics thread ends up and dies like this

Oh well, it just elevates my self-image of how I am compared to these - so it isn't entirely wasted

Hurling feces is an American tradition; I once saw Richard Nixon hurl a massive ####### at the Constitution.

I'd love to go there, as long as I can avoid Boston, that accent drives me crazy.
