Hi everybody,

I am April filer and in my timeline in the site, it used to say that my visa should be approved between august 15 and 23, and now it says between september 17 and 24..... Seriously what the heck ?? Did someone call them to know if they really slowed down?

Thank you

My estimate has been stuck at 14 days away for the past 4 weeks... I think it got down to 11 days away at one point, but its back at 14.

I'm really nervous about all of this going on at VCS! We are April filers and initially we expected our case to be getting out of VSC in August - no idea any more! So, for those who have been observing VSC work for longer than we have, have you noticed how long do these slow downs usually last? Like once they start working slower than usual (in this case in began in May) how long it takes them to get back to normal?

04/14/2012 - I129-F sent out

04/20/2012 - NOA1 receipt date

04/24/2012 - NOA1 (email/text) received

04/27/2012 - NOA1 hard copy

10/15/2012 - NOA2 receipt date

Initially we expected to be approved in May...it's July now and really no sign of anything changing in the next few days/weeks...it takes months to get back to normal as the backlog is getting bigger and bigger! At this stage I know at least about 200 cases before mine that are not approved yet, so that alone will take a few weeks!
