Hey guys,

My hunny is going to start gathering up stuff for the K-1 visa interview now. He lives in Falmouth, Trelawny Parish; so Mo Bay is nearset to him. Does he have to go all the way to Kingston to get his police record and no impediment to marriage certificate? Where have some of you previous filers gotten theirs from?? I was under the impression, from things I have found on the interent that one could get these in Montego Bay, he says he has to go to Kingston for them. Just wanting some ideas where others have gotten theirs.

Thanks!!

My fiance lives in St. Ann's parish so he went to St. Ann's Bay for his non-impediment, but he went to St. Mary's for his police certificate. We just looked at the websites for locations.

Just be careful with the police certificate. You dont want to get it too early in advance

What will happen if its too early? will they suspect you for something?

Ihear that you will have to get a letter from the embassy to take with you for police report, anyone heard this before

Kingston

Your hunny can get his police certificate in Mobay but they only do it on certain days. He can also go to the RGD office in Mobay and apply for nonimpediment form too.
