you can now pay your visa at any BPI branch, set your interview appointment and do the medical before the interview, the USEM isn't sending instruction letter anymore for k1 applicants you can download it at their website but you are good to go as long as you have your MNL case #.

congratulations :)

You can't schedule the appointment until your information is uploaded at the embassy. I just went though that. After NVC received our case and I had the number, it took them 5 days to actually ship it out.

The thing to do is to give it a week, then call NVC back and ask when they shipped your case to the embassy. So, I'd recommend calling NVC tomorrow to find out the ship date.

Then allow 8-10 days for the package from the ship date to reach the embassy and be uploaded before calling to set your appointment (or doing it online.)

Remember that July 4th is a holiday for the embassy next week too, so your info may not be uploaded as quickly.

May your visa journey be smooth and speedy.

When I called NVC they said they had sent it out on june 26. And I tried that DHL tracking (just dont know if it actually works). There is a shipment from June 26 that was just delivered today. So I'm hoping. Thank you :)

My NOA2 was May 14. It actually took over a month for NVC to receive it. But when I called on june 25, they told me that they had received it on the 22nd and they were able to give me my case number right away and sent it out the next day on the 26th. Which I wasn't expecting to be quick after the long wait from USCIS and NVC period.

Congrats to you! May i know when you received your noa2? we are waiting for some good news from nvc also. We had noa2 last June 12....

What information (number) did you use to track DHL? All I have is a case number from the NVC.

If you got your case number that is all you need to schedule your interview now do you do not have to wait on the packet to get to Manila

you do not have to wait for your case to get to manila because they already have it in their system, and I'm sure you're not going to go to your interview right away you still need to do the medical, while doing the medical and gathering the docs you need your docs will be already at USEM, there's a lot of my friends that after getting their MNL case # even without hard copy they paid their Visa and set an appointment. as long as you have your case number you're good to go, when doing medical they asked for interview confirmation letter not the NVC letter, even on your interview UNLESS if you're cr1,

In case anyone is following,, the above is bogus info. As soon as you have the MNL your in Business. If you have your MNL, your case has already been assigned to Manila. Not sure what happned in this case, but this is not the norm.

You can call it bogus, but it doesn't make it so. It's what actually happened in my case. Facts are facts.

May your visa journey be smooth and speedy.
