Question about ITR

Good day to all Vjers

I just want to ask, is it possible if i can only present my fiance's pay stub, pay checks, bank statement and other proof of personal business records during my interview together with the affidavit of support? He also have property in the main land. His accountant havent finish his ITR for this year and still late filling.. last year he didnt made enough money coz he spent almost half of the year here in the philippines, but he still pass the poverty line. Is this enough proof? thank you so much

How about if he showed the previous 2 years of ITR and said 2011 hasnt been filed and returned and show pay stubs and letter from employer as what he is making this year. Just throwing it out there, not sure.

You should try. He might get a letter from his accountant showing that his return for 2011 isn't filed yet. But he should also include the information from 2011 that would help. If he has a W2 or 1099 that shows the income he will be reporting he should include it.

The worst thing that will happen is they will hold off issuing your visa until he shows last years return. Just bring as much information as you have. But a letter from the accountant explaining that his return isn't yet filed for 2011 might help.

he didnt made enough income last 2010, and i asked him to get the letter of extension from his accountant.. all i have here is the 1099 and the rental list from his property. If they can finish the ITR for year 2011, is it ok if they send me the copy thru email and i will just present it at the interview? or they need original? sorry for aditional question

Latest ITR is what they require as supporting evidence for the I-134. 2nd and 3rd most recent are optional, and so are employment letters and paystubs. Not so sure about bank statements..

You can show proof that you filed for an extension, but definitely, the best thing to do is to file it ASAP..

Supporting documents can be copies only. But the signature on the I-864/I-134 needs to be original.

i had him signed the affidavit of support during his visit here last 2 weeks good thing i research and read some info here on VJ. thank you so much reginakrys.

He needs to show the consular officer that his current sustained income exceeds 125% of the poverty level for his household size and for the area he lives in.
