How does answering yes to Marriage Broker affect my petition. Has anyone been denied for answering yes and/or has it delayed approval. Were do I answer NO on form provided for Questions 2&3.

There are several in process but no reports that I am aware of. There is one report of no problems on multiple k-1's answer. I would hope it does not delay the approval process and simply be additinonal question or two at the interview.

YMMV

Just leave questions 2 & 3 blank. It's a bit of a bad form. No place to say none or n/a.

There is a thread started by Aussiewench I think that is asking people to give their experiences on post IMBRA interviews.

As far as I know, answering yes to question 1 does not affect your chances of approval. You just need to provide detail information on the agency. As far as questions 2 & 3 go, just leave them blank. With me, we met through an Internet dating site. I answered no to question 1 because I felt that the agency charged the same fees to both Americans and men from other countries. Also they had a couple of mens profiles on the site, so I assumed they charge American women the same fee.

We were approved post-IMBRA. The Moscow Embassy interview was easy for all of the women that my fiancee went into the interview with. They asked her how we met, and she told them that we initially met through the Internet. My fiancee gave no further details except when we actually met in person.

Eventhough you filed post IMBRA but met pre-IMBRA and I do not know if that makes a difference or not. I hope it does because it was a non-event for you.

YMMV
