Hey everyone. I am currently filling out the I-130 form. I am from Canada and I married my boyfriend who is a US citizen. We did not have enough money to send in the form and I had to do my taxes so I went back to Canada to earn a little money. When I send in the forms will my husband just be informed about being accepted or will they mail me too? I am not on good terms about this with my parents and that is who I am living with right now.

You attach the form to the top of the packet for email and text notification. And just out of curiousity , if you can't afford to send the i 130, how will you he able to meet the minimum income requirements for the i 864 affidavit of support? the petitioner(your husband) needs to be 125% above the poverty guidelines for your household size http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf
