Hell vj,

I have oncoming interview for naturalization based of 5yrs. I was divorce i wanna know if i still have to bring my divorce decree since i already submitted along with n-400?

04/08/2013 received NOA1 1-130 FOR PARENT

????????

You should bring the original of any documents that you sent with your application including your divorce decree. You should also bring your greencard as well as any other documents that might have been requested on your interview letter. (Many have gotten a letter yellow asking for applicant to bring a state id). Having said that they may not ask to see any of it but if you want to be prepared for whatever they might throw at you that is what you should bring.

i filed base on 5yrs, divorce ,never remarried.. does anyone has/had experience if they ask copy of divorce decree during interview for citizenship?

being curious because i sent my original divorce decree w/ n-400 application.

does anyone know the website that i can order online a copy of divorce decree. state of texas

Why send the original? They only ask for a copy anyway.

You probably need to go to (or call) the county courthouse wherever your divorce degree was filed. They can look it up for you and get you a copy.

2012-04-19 NOA

2012-06-15 biometrics in Houston

2012-08-13 interview in San Antonio (why not Houston?) -- Passed!

2012-08-23 Oath ceremony

2012-08-23 U.S. Citizen!
