Can my fiancee being pregnant hinder, help or neither when it comes to the process? We both have a child of our own and we were considering one together. I know the age difference (she 21 and I am 44) is an obstacle, but can this make it harder for us? I appreciate any input, thanks in advance.

15 Mar 2012---Started talking online
25 Mar 2012---Texting and twice a day conversations
28 Mar 2012---Exclusive with each other
26 Apr 2012---Engaged
01 Jul 2012---Married in our hearts
24 Dec 2012---Visited for Christmas and New Year's In Zamboanga City

10 Jul 2013 -- Vacationed in Davao City, K1 application transffered

16 Aug 2013 -- NOA2!!!!!!!!

Pregnancy will not hinder or help your application.

As long as you can prove the legitimacy of your you should be fine.

It won't hinder or help the K1 app itself, but if the baby is born before the K1 is issued, there is another person to count for the affidavit of support/ 125% poverty level. Additionally, some consulates required a lot of proof you were there around the time of conception and may not issue a K1 visa until the child is born and a DNA test can be done if they have doubts.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
