hello everybody..

I just want to know if somebody do the same as my AOS processing..

I sent my AOS to chicago and then they transfer it to CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER LAST SEPT.27,2006.

and now i received an email fron USCIS that they transfer my AOS to MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER.

HERE IS THE EMAIL

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

The following is the latest information on your case status

Receipt Number: ***

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On October 17, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283.

*The projected processing time frame can be found on the receipt notice that you received from the USCIS.

*** Please do not respond to this e-mail message.

Sincerely,

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

I dont really understand why they do this...it makes my processing delayed because they transferred my AOS application in different service center...

TO THOSE WHO EXPERIENCE THE SAME WITH MY AOS PROCESSING EXPERIENCED:

Please let me know if how long it takes for my AOS to be processed in MSC...

I see you arrived on a K-3 and I believe all of the VJ applicatants who have been sent to CSC have been K-1ers ...

Maybe they sent your application to California by mistake and once California seen it was a K-3 that they turned around and sent it back to Missouri ...
