AOS transferred to CSC and transferred again to MSC

hello everybody..

I just want to know if somebody do the same as my AOS processing..

I sent my AOS to chicago and then they transfer it to CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER LAST SEPT.27,2006.

and now i received an email fron USCIS that they transfer my AOS to MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER.

That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.

I dont really understand why they do this...it makes my processing delayed because they transferred my AOS application in different service center...

TO THOSE WHO EXPERIENCE THE SAME WITH MY AOS PROCESSING EXPERIENCED:

Please let me know if how long it takes for my AOS to be processed in MSC...

The NBC (formerly the MSC) does not process I-485 to completion. After reviewing it they either send it to a local District or Sub office for interview or they send it to the CSC for approval without interview.

It would appear that in your case the CSC did not agree that the application could be approved without interview, so they have sent it back to go the interview route. Perhaps the next thing you will receive will be a notice giving you an interview date.
