Alien Number Confusion

hi all -

My fiance came through K1 and we got married a week later once she was here.

We filed AOS on June 7th , the NOA we got has a different A number then the one we have put in the 485(which was from 129F and While Entering Passport Stamp of 90 Days )

Is this common to have two alien numbers ?

No, there should be only one. The correct one would be found on your I-129F NOA2 approval notice. It can be found there above the beneficiary's name. If the A# from the I-129F NOA2 is not the same one listed for your AOS paperwork, then you need to contact USCIS about it.

Yep I did double check all the 3 forms that we submitted 484 , AP and EAD .. all 3 forms we mentioned the A number which was on the petition approval.

Not sure why the receipt notice that came in has a different alien number. Name and Birth Details are correct also.

I am not sure about your forms but I did the i130,i765 n i485 the i765 n i485 had the same A# which is mines and the i130 had my husbands(the petitioner) A# so maybe that's what it is
