The bottom line for me is I understand that the owner of this board has every right to run it the way he/she wants to, and it's up to me and every other member to assimilate to those rules that the owner sets forth. My only problem, and the reason for my original post, was that certain people were taking advantage of the rules and the mods were allowing it to happen. From what I have seen in the last couple of days, that has changed, thank you.

That being said, most everyone here is on the up and up and I enjoy posting here. I have learned a lot in regards to immigration from the people on this site, and now that my own journey is over, I want to help others that come here for assistance.

Did you have this problem, when your other account was still active and not shut down?

I am assuming (perhaps too much) that you came back to VJ, making a new account, for some reason.

What was that reason? TIA for answering !

Do Note, though, that between the time of your 'leaving' and the time of your 'new account creation', the TOS has changed, much. The things you are complaining about are covered in the TOS. Kathryn's mentioned to you to READ the TOS - did you, recently?

This is my first interaction with you on the this website. In the simple three or four sentences that i wrote to you, how do you assume that i play a tough guy on the internet? Is it the Marine Corps pictures that i have posted? If you feel that way, then you should probably take a class on how to judge someone's character. I wouldn't take an internet course, not with your track record so far. I don't need to play a tough guy on the internet or in my everyday life, i have had my Azz kicked before.

Those simple 3 or 4 sentences you wrote were aimed at my not having a backbone because of my thinking it's ok to use insults on the internet. You also included a line that insinuated I was only doing so because I am in the solitude of my own home, ie: I wouldn't have the nerve to do so otherwise. That's where the tough guy comment came from.

As for the Marine Corp picks, I love em, and thank you for your service!

Perhaps you could enlighten me as to what you are talking about. I had opened an account under another name about a year ago, I posted maybe a handful of times under that name, mostly asking for advice, then I left and very rarely came to this site at all. I opened a new account with this name in March. I never had any previous problems on this board before.

It would inhibit their enjoyment of the Forums. Then the mods would have to suspend themselves and there would be no mods left and then the Afghani spammer and Eric will return. No one wants that to happen.

I like some boards that leave the offending post visible, then place last bold red letters on the post stating "USER WAS (INSERT ADMIN ACTION HERE) FOR THIS POST".

Are those boards with a lower ratio of posts to moderators? On VJ that would just enable Habitual Offenders like myself to document the arbitrary and capricious nature of current moderation.

This site needs more moderators. Not just 1 or 2 more, but multiples of what they have now.
