I sent my application in for expedited naturalization. The check was cashed and NOA was sent. Then, I waited about 2 months with nothing happening. Finally called USCIS call center and they sent a letter was sent -- saying that we will send you a interview notice in 60 days. If you don't get one make an infopass appointment. (On speaking with an agent, I asked about fingerprints. I understood that I din't need them; since I had them taken less than year ago; hope that helps someone)

Two questions:

1. Has anyone experienced this? I am worried I won't get a notice and will have to make an appointment. What happens then?

2. If I interview two weeks prior to scheduled naturalization, will I get a naturalization date the same month. My USCIS location is Los Angeles. They do 6000x2 people a month with 75 at the court, every other month.

Any knowledge or experience would help me.

Thanks in advance!
