i got an email saying they approved my I-130 on June 6, i am just wondering how long will it take for NVC to receive our case?

i am at sea right now and it will take 3-4 weeks for me to receive any mail regarding our case.

02/16/12 - mailed I-130

02/27/12 - NOA1 petition received(hubby's birthday!)

06/06/12 - NOA2 stating I-130 approved

06/29/12 - NVC received case

07/09/12 - case entered in the system,assigned MNL # and IIN,email add given

07/12/12 - beneficiary emailed DS-3032, auto response received

07/18/12 - AOS fee bill/paid "IN PROCESS"

07/20/12 - AOS fee bill shows "PAID", mailed AOS package

07/25/12 - received AOS

07/25/12 - IV Fee Bill Invoiced, paid $230.00 "IN PROCESS"

07/26/12 - IV Fee bill shows "PAID"

07/28/12 - mailed IV Package

08/03/12 - received DS 230 packet

08/14/12 - sent RFE

08/16/12 - NVC received RFE

08/21/12 - log in failed

08/22/12 - case complete!

09/26-27/12 - medical at SLMC

It's currently taking NVC around a month from NOA2 date to assign a case number. So, you should be getting a case number around early July.

My wife is Filipina also and we got our approval on the 26th for her parents. I called the NVC today just to ask and they said 15 business days from the approval date. What does everyone else think we should do?

I called NVC yesterday and they asked me to send a scan of my NOA2 attached in a email!They have a email for inquiries NVCInquiry@state.gov so wait the 15 days and for sure they will ask you the same or not!

I'm got approved in Jun 6 , 2012 ,too. haven' t called yet, figured out it won't be that quick, so just wait till early July after the National Holiday!

i called NVC and they received my case June 29th and it was entered in the system July 9th. that's how long it took.

got my case number and IIN also, still NOT INVOICED yet.. can't wait so i can pay the fee and send the documents.
