I would like to bring a sister to come to California,USA to help with me during/after my pregnancy (Twin, expected delivery date Jan 2013).

I have 2 sisters, sister A in Malaysia and Sister B working in Singapore. I’m hoping either sister can come to US to help me.

Sister A is 24 yr old single, currently not working and is living with my parent, she is financially and educationally not well off, I have applied for this sister US Permanent residence last year, status is pending.

Sister B is 35 yr old single working in Singapore as ticketing agent, financially and educationally better than sister A but still own no asset in Malaysia or Singapore. I have also applied US Permanent residence for her last year and status is pending. 8 months ago she applies for tourist visa to visit me but was rejected twice.

Is there a way to bring either sister to US to help me during and after my pregnancy, if so, which visa should I apply for?

Can I apply J1 visa for either sister to come to US as aupair or nanny or to learn English?

There is no way to bring them in time to help you, because the residency visa will take another 10 years, and you cannot apply for a J1. Your sisters could apply (again) for a tourist visa to see you and the babies, but they cannot work on a tourist visa, and that includes nannying services.

Child care is considered work, and work is NOT allowed by those admitted to the US as tourists...if you doubt this, just have your sisters attend a new interview, and tell the VO that the reason they need to go to the US is to provide babysitting services....let me know how that turns out....(BTW, it matters not that you would not be 'paying them a salary'...the main issue is this: if they are engaged in an activity that replaces somebody who would normally be paid to do that activity, that is considered work...it does not matter if they are relatives, nor does it matter what YOUR pedigree may be, who you know, or anything else)....work= work....babysitting = work...if you doubt this, try to find somebody to watch your kids for free while you go to the movies... :bonk::bonk::bonk::bonk:
