my wife is from colombia and she is petitioning to bring her mother to the USA. we paid the affidavit of support fee and today her mother mailed off the ds-3032. what is the rest of the process? do we wait to receive something before filing any further paperwork? can we mail off the i-864 affidavit of support form before getting some kind of notification or do we need to wait? as for the ds-230, will her mother receive that in the mail, does she need to pick it up somewhere in colombia, or can we send it to her in an email attachment? from what i read, i think she doesn't sign the ds-230 until she is in the presence of the immigration officials? is that correct? will she get something from the embassy/consulate mailed to her that she will need to deal with? anything specific to colombia? anything wrong or missing? thanks. bob
