Hi guys, this kind of question was probably asked before, but I cannot find anything specific. I am naturalizing soon, so if my PD does not get current before that I will upgrade to IR1, so I would appreciate your advice on interview evidence.

1) For the interview, do you think around total 70-100 photos of us together, and me with his family and him with my family, mutual friends and all some trips, would be enough? I doubt they would look through 100 pics but we have been together since 2003 so they would obviousy see us growing up as a couple :)

2) I am also including all my passport entry/ exit stemps since 2003 for them to see. I did not safe the flight boarding passes, but the passport stemps should be just as good correct?

3) we really don't have any mutual accounts, etc because I live with my parents and am a full time student, he works, but I'm not on his account since in our country I need to reside there to be added. We are pretty young so I doubt they would expect us to have a deed or house.  Anyway, we do have a Certificate from a Church certifying that we are godparents to a little girl and that we were also a godparents at a friend's wedding, so this at least shows we do stuff together. It is pointless to include any skype logs cause we do audio and video calls not chat. Would you guys advise to include maybe 2-3 months of my phone bill showing calls from and to our country as proof of us talking?

4) I have two affidavits that I sent with I-130 one from my made oh honor and one from friends of his family, affirming our relationship and he will take them with him to the embassy, should I get more?

What else could we present at the time of interview? we would be married for 2 years, and I visited him at least once a year since 2004 when I moved to US. I did not have any RFEs throughout this process and would love him to get through the interview with as little pain as possible :) He knows everything about me except he has trouble memorizing my university name and some of the American addresses, but I am sure they don't expect 'memorization'.

Sorry for a very long post, any input would be appreciated.

1) 100 pictures is too many. Just pick several from each year to show the time span.

2) Sure this sounds fine.

3) Yes. Include phone bills and any Skype records. They care much more about the fact the calls occurred than what was said in the calls, obviously.

4) This sounds good.

I think you're in good shape. Do you mean you are naturalizing? You said your PD will become current, but most people would refer to it as his PD if he is the immigrant. Definitely upgrade to IR-1 when you do, you can call them to make the request and then follow up by sending a copy of your certificate. Good luck!

Thank you very much. Yes, I meant his PD, sorry for the confusion. Whichever becomes faster PD or naturalization certificate will do the trick I guess. Thanks again, I'll have him print out skype calls when we are closer to interview. Thanks again, I appreciate it very much! Good luck to you too!

I'm not immigrating but I always appreciate the luck :-)

You'll actually need to change to IR-1 if you're naturalized at any point before the interview. They won't grant him a visa in the "spouse of permanent resident" category after you become a U.S. citizen. The reason is that there are a limited number of visas in that category, but no limit on visas in the "spouse of U.S. citizen" category. They won't let you use up a limited visa if you qualify in an unlimited category.

Thank you. I plan to upgrade once I have my naturalization cert in hand. Thanks again and yes, you are right the luck is always handy :)
