Expedite for Korea?

Hi there,

I have heard conflicting information on the subject but I want to hear YOUR experiences. My husband left in May for a 1 year hardship tour to Korea. My son and I are still behind in the US. I filed for Removal of Conditions back in February and I've heard different things about whether or not it's something we could expedite for. Thank you.

What is your goal? To join him in Korea? Why do you need removal of conditions to be done sooner? Your Green Card is perfectly valid until then. Generally removal of conditions requires an interview with both spouses, so I'd expect that they would delay, not expedite, removal of conditions.

If you want to join him overseas, you might be eligible for expedited naturalization. In any case, USCIS has a special help line for military families, so you should try talking to them. Not really sure what the benefit of an expedited ROC is supposed to be? You're perfectly fine to travel with your NOA and chances are you'll receive your new GC in a few weeks anyway.
