Female Fiancee applied for K-1 in Jerusalem and is in Administrative Processing for 3 months now !?

I applied for I-129F, my receipt on Aug 15, 2011; approved by USCIS in December 2011; approved and forwarded to Jerusalem by NVC in January; my fiance then completed all the necessary paper work and security checks (medical, police reports, visa fee, affidavit) interviewed on Apr. 2, 2012 with all her paper work in. The consular told her everything was good; the consulate in Jerusalem requested proof of residency for my self living in the USA, sent it and verified via email that it was sufficient. They took her passport at the interview and about 3 months later she has yet to recieve her visa. Every email I send (monthly) to the consulate says the case is in administrative processing and I will be notified as soon they are done. She received a clean police report from both the Israeli and Palestinian Authorities and I have a completely clean record also so I do not know what is the issue and they will not tell me... so I don't understand what more checks need to be done I followed all the regulations and guidelines and we have over 200 pages of evidence of engagement (including pics) that she showed and a perfect affidavit of support. How much more time should I expect to wait and is there anything I can do?

Story of my life ! There is nothing you can do to speed up AP. It is a non transparent process and they will let you know

when it is done. You can call DOS biweekly to check on your status at 202-663-1225. Three months is not long enough to

contact your senator to inquire and they will most likely not tell him much more either.

We have been in AP for 15 months. Most AP lasts from a few weeks to 4-6 months and some 1 year and over.

Besides back ground checks, name checks and document verification they can also conduct home investigations during AP but will

keep the reason shrouded in mystery.

There is AP review at the consular and off post. DOS may tell you where the process currently is taking place and they may tell you sorry we do not know more or can't say more.

Just try to be patient.

Spoiler

Join the club! Interview at GUZ 3-19-2012. Everything good. Received "white slip" or "Congratulations! Your visa is approved" letter on 3-20-2012. Received the "blue slip" or "Administrative processing required (221g)" 2 weeks later. It has now been 99 days and counting for us! GUZ never reveals when or why. DoS hotline merely looks in the computer at GUZ's response to online information requests, and repeats what GUZ has said which is nothing. There is nothing Congressmen or Senators are able to do for you (been there; done that). What did your letter say? Ours just requested duplicates of paperwork submitted at intake: job resume, trips out of country. There is no way to tell what the reason is. Speculation will just make you crazy. My best guess in our case is a conflict with an old quasi-refusal code in the computer system for a denied tourist visa from four years before (GUZ denies many females who apply for tourist visas, then uses these denials against them years later if/when they apply for other types of visas). My second best guess is additional name checks required due to common name. Dunno: there are only 202 name matches in USA. We'll never know, because when/if visa is ever approved, there will be no apology, and there will be no notification of what the problem was, or even if there was a problem to begin with. Best wishes. DoS is like a Dostoevsky novel; prepare for living existentially for an indefinite period.
