I honesty think now that he is afraid. I have 16 hours before I graduate so I can't leave now. We didn't discuss all other possibilities but he said Yw would think about everything today and tell me tonight. I do love him enough to consider it but I've seen how his family lives and it would best if he came here.

wow but if you guys REALLY loves each other WHY NOT move there???? i mean if you love this guy either u or him will make way..why give up?

I have been dumped. And what's even worse is that today is my birthday. He gave me excuses about his family was starting a business and he was the only one who could run it and someone here can make me happier and his family doesn't want him to come here. I think he has someone else but he insists that he doesn't. My heart is really broken. So I think I will be alone for awhile. What's crazy is that I wss reading messages from the beginning of this months and it was the opposite. I was the one telling him how hard this was and he was assuring me that it could work if we love each other. I'm just so sad. I'm too embarrassed to tell my family and friends. Everything was fine until he went their annual family vacation. He has been back since Friday and picks my birthday to break up with me. But God knows best. I hope I will soon find that person that he has made just for me.

im so sorry to hear that.. hope u will be fine soon

I was told one time that if it felt so good when you where with the wrong one , just imagine how incredible it's going to be when your with the right one.. God bless, and keep your head up, because you just might miss your next blessing. :star:

God is the only one that really knows what is good for us eventhough we sometimes cant figure out why things happen. Dont be afraid or embarased to tell your family because it is better now then later when your have gone thru marriage. In my opinion you should wait a couple of days before you break the news to everyone. You never know if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Hope everything works out and im here if you need to talk.

happy birthday too you. Feliz Cumple!! I am so sorry that this happened. From what you said it doesnt makes sense if he was singing a different tune earlier. I know it hurts and you feel let down but hunny there are more fish in the sea and its his lost not yours. he doesnt deserve you! keep you head up and dont give up on love just yet. take time for yourself and think about what you want for yourself and your life then go after it. I am so so so so sorry to hear about your pain. Although I wasn't in the process of sponsoring a visa for a fiance, I too was broken up with by someone I loved very much (and was with for over three years) on my birthday. I know how much more badly having it done to you on your birthday is. :( Although sucky, at least he gave you some sort of explanation ... (My ex just came over to my apartment, handed me a letter, a box of my things and left...no "Happy Birthday" or anything ... after three years. And then we never spoke again...) As someone who has lived through it too, I'm telling you it does get easier with time. It's been over 2.5 years since my breakup, and I've found a great guy (my reason for being on this forum) and never think about my ex and that situation unless someone happens to bring it up. I know it's hard right now, but what you said is true - there IS someone better for you out there that you *will* meet when the time is right. If you ever need to talk, I'm here to listen. Stay strong. (L)

Takis, I think you're missing some key information. She applied for the K-1 visa. My guess is that their plans were that she come to America and marry this man. He ended the relationship, though, and if there is no relationship, then she cannot exactly just move to the US. Not without due process or some other way.
