Hi folks,

My wife and I are planning to go see the inlaws in Vietnam, in March or later. I have a few questions about filing for I-131.

We had already filed I-130 and AOS, so this application will go in afterwards, is there anything I should know because of this?

So far all we have are receipt numbers from the applications, do i put them on the application and where do I put those on the I-131 application.

My wife came here on an Student Visa, so we should be filing for a re-entry permit correct?

For the reason to travel what should we put? This is just a trip to visit her family.

Lastly we are unsure as to when we can travel, so is it ok to put unknown in the box? As far as I know the reentry permit lasts two years. Also how quick are processing times? are the ones listed on the website reliable? Because we might want to go in March, but its cutting close in the processing time.

Wow thats alot of questions! Anyways we have been coming here for a while now, and it is a great source of information! I want to thank all of you and thank you in advance.

-Phong
