Hello VJers . . . I am preparing for my trip and printing off the documentation that my honey will have to fill out in anticipation for his upcoming interview . . . Before hand. I will fill out these documents with him, make copies, leave them with and have him turn them in when he gets his interview date. He will not sign or date them of course for now. So far as for as the forms are concerned I have the following:

DS 156k (do we also need DS156?)

what other forms do I need for him to fill out.

Letter of Intent

DS 230

What other forms are needed? Thank you very much.

Vickie

I just sent my packet (via fed ex) last week. Here is what I got from the embassy for our upcoming interview:

FORMS:

DS-230 Part I&II- http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/81807.pdf

DS-156- https://evisaforms.state.gov/ds156.asp

DS-157- http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/79964.pdf

DS-156K- http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/82063.pdf

I-134- http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-134.pdf

Me, personally would hold off filling any out since the forms have expiration dates on them. Do I feel that that they will change much?...no. But if you can hold off, I would. But just a suggestion. Also, one of the forms needs to be generated on-line so that the form generates a bar code. Also DS-156 & DS-157 are to be in duplicate.

I hope this helps. You will get a check list from the embassy with all this as well. Good luck! And have fun on your trip.

I would focus on getting and paying for the other stuff, like the police cert, non-inpediment, and getting the physical and shot info. Also, taking additional pictures as proof of relationship since filing for K-1. That will take you all week. LOL!
