Well it seems its a balancing act. Before I file 3/19 people were screamin that CSC was slow as molasses and plz send us to VSC. Makes you wonder what petition they shift or whatever.

I know CSC has been approving March left and right a week before me week after me. Just not me. Goodness. But its only 3 months 6 days I can hardly cry about it.

Sorry for those at 5 months or more. Soon soon I say.

I am too busy getting my I-864 stuff together. I am stressin all over again.

The best to us all.

Whats up with Vermont? The state is full of bleeding heart liberals. Maybe they pulled the adjudicators and used them to take phone calls to answer questions about Obama's new directive.

Does it sounds like I am irritated and fed up with VSC? :innocent:

It's crazy how long they've been processing the month of January. Nobody knows what's going on over there. This week is 160 days for many of us...and all we receive is a scripted "processing 1/09" response when we call. No VSC approvals on VJ today either. so disappointing. it's awful.

I hope it would mean assigning more adjudicators to process K1s. it's taken them 2 months to get through half the month of January and we're still seeing little to no progress.

persistent helps.

A lot of people were persistent, but they were told that the computer absolutely won't let them file a service request until their computer shows that they are past their processing date. Currently their computer states that they are on 1/9, and since my date is 1/17, it won't let them put it in. It's likely that their job is to deter people from making requests and they aren't allowed to do a request without a system override. I may get my fiance to call in a few days, as I am not one to argue with people.

They both go back an forth. When my fiance an I started planning for this process back in February 2011, CSC was about 45 days ahead of VSC, and we were so happy knowing our petition was assigned to CSC. By the time we filed, however, CSC was nearly 2 months behind VSC, and people from VSC with NOA1 dates 2 months after ours were getting approved. Those of us calling were told 8 months at CSC, and the forums were HOT about it. We are on round 2 *crossing fingers*, and coming up to a Feb 22 NOA1 date this time, and hoping to finally get approved. It could be bad management. It could be because USCIS shifted workloads from one facility to another. It could be an excessive influx of applications to one service center versus another, or the types of applications from one service center to another. Who knows? Just be patient a little longer and you WILL hear something  (and hopefully it will be what you want to hear!)

Just called! Both people were real nice, and I was pretty forward with them but polite. They both said they are working on January 23, uhhh yeah, i don't buy it. I tried to get transferred to a tier 2 but the one woman refused, unbelievable. So....i spoke to her, i told her "ok so january 23, then i'll just call in 3 days" then she was like "no, you should probably call in 30" then i said "okay i'll talk to you in 3."
