Interview time question

Just a question to get me thinking about a time frame for getting the rest of this procedure done.

When scheduling the interview through the manila website, what is the time frame were looking at for an interview? Is it possible to get on there and get an appointment 2 weeks out? Or is it 3-4 weeks? Is it possible to pick up an appointment in 1 week? Thanks for any responses on this..

i scheduled my interview 3 weeks from now...i gave myself to get ready a week before my medical and then after a week my interview...it's ur choice as long as ur ready with everything...i hope i answered u correctly ...

You never know until you get on and see. The answer to all your questions is Maybe.. I doubt one week but 2,3,4 is surely possible. It all depends on the case load. I want to say my wife got her's about 3 weeks out, maybe a tad more. I am thinking 3-4 weeks is the Norm, although a lot don't want to be pushed. You got a lot to do after NOA2.

yeah, but ideally its better 3-4 weeks, because u will have ur medical first before ur interview and like i said u can go on with 2 weeks as long as all your paperworks are ready...goodluck!

Thanks for the great info. All paperwork is in order, just waiting to call the NVC for the MNL case number.

when did u get ur NOA2?i got an email(NOA2) june 7th and then emailed NVC & embassy june 12th and on june 15th got a response from embassy with my MNL case number. thanks and will keep i posted with my journey....

We received our NOA2 on Jun 22 and were hoping for a fast response from the NVC like you did. Did ypu get your mnl case number from NVC or the embassy?

From the embassy first and then after a few days got an email from NVC...

yep, u can email them tomorrow or on wed to ask for ur case number...

There was an available date literally two days away from the date we set my wife's appointment. No way could we have managed that, but there were also 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks out available. Because she would need to fly from Davao City, we choose 3 weeks out. We wanted a week to get her to the medical, a two week break to insure the medical got to the embassy, then the interview. Worked out pretty good for us, but still felt a bit rushed.

Thanks caryh, sounds good. If you do the medical a few days before the interview is it possible that the results don't show up at the embassy before your interview? And if yes what would happen?

If St. Luke's feels they can not get the medical file to the embassy on time, they will have your fiancee hand carry it.

As for the MNL #, the embassy is the one that assigned that number to your packet, then they forward that number to NVC.
