They are very clean people - they wouldn't like the smell of urine that always hangs over new orleans..

No public restrooms you know

I thought it would be a good idea to start a website that tells you where all the public restrooms are in the quarter. You just have to know where they are! ;)

I love rolling down the window when driving down Canal and smelling that "New Orleans" smell.

Maybe the Dutch should go to New Orleans and build a dam that prevents hurricanes.

Actually it's dykes and levees and yes a Dutch team did come in and show how New Orleans was vulnerable to a flood/hurricane what have you.

What's the percentage of the Netherlands that's below sea level and when is the last time they had a major flood and then proceeded to loot all the nearby shops?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

If the Dutch think they have cultural differences in Holland, they should try New Orleans after a hurricane

Where did they plug in all of those wide screen teeveees they looted after Katrina? Do most houses in LA have electrical service on the roof?

Please explain how a dam prevents hurricane damage. Also are you admitting you think New Orleans was only flooded and nothing else, and that no where else was hit?

25% of The Netherlands is reclaimed land, they don't have hurricanes though... I told you to read up on them, clearly you haven't. You think everyone went around looting? Stop watching Fox News.

ok now lets get down to the Darwinist nitty gritty

Can the Dutch natives swim better than the immigrants ?

The answer to that may be the final arbiter of the culture problem

THE Boston, Lincolnshire

The port of Boston, though some six miles (10 km) from the open sea, is often considered a coastal town. Boston Haven, a tidal stretch of the River Witham, made Boston one of the most significant ports in England between the 11th-17th centuries. Boston was a "staple town" and a member of the Hanseatic League.

In 1953, a storm tide overwhelmed Lincolnshire's sea defences, and the county was flooded as far inland as Alford. More than 300 people were killed in Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties. Coastal defences (sea banks) were extensively rebuilt after 1953, but the threat of inundation of low-lying areas by a rising sea in an era of global warming worries many residents of the Lincolnshire coast.

The Dutch just need to build them a dam! It will prevent all flooding, coastal and river AND prevent winds! Just ask Bad_Daddy!

I think he said dykes and levees, not dams. And didn't say prevent said vulnerable. No, he also admitted there was looting.
