We are still waiting for our NVC case# after our NOA2 and I plan on calling them again today (monday).

Last monday when I called, they have not yet received our petition from Vermont Service Center.

I was wondering what is the earliest that my fiancee get her police clearance and medical done.

I believe I read here before that you can get your medical done as soon as you receive you NVC case#.

Is this true? If so can she also get her police clearance right after receiving our case#?

I am trying to avoid much delays as possible.

Thanks!

These questions are Embassy specific. You can report your message to the moderators and ask them to please move your post to the regional part of the forum, just so other members going through the Embassy in South Korea can help you good.gif

As a general rule, the Embassies suggest not to get anything done until they have your physical file in their hands. She should be able to get the Police Clearance whenever possible, though; because neither the NVC# nor the Embassy have nothing to do with the Police.
