okay so im the petitioner, i was a fulltime student never worked untill october of last year, and i had to stop in feburary so i only worked 4 months. My mother said she would help me out she filed her taxtes with my dad. what forms should i file. Just the I864A for my mom and the i864 for me??? also does my dad need to sigh anything too since im using his taxes twoo!???

You complete an I-864 regardless of income.

Your parent completes an I-864 as well since your current income is zero. Your parent completes the form and supplies all needed documents along with proof of their individual current income. Typically that proof is an employer letter and recent paystubs. If your other parent's income is needed to meet the requirement, the second parent would use form I-864A.

It's about current income, not taxes unless a sponsor is self employed.
