I am preparing myself for the next stage NVC. Still waiting on NOA2. And came across some questions

1. I filled my 2011 taxes in April. How long does it take for the transcripts to be ready.

2. I guess question one will answer question 2. I still have to file 2009. I only worked 7 weeks have the transcript of W2 and all that. I guess I better get to filing.

My issue is if my return transcripts aren't ready for NVC stage can I just use the print tax form along with the. Wage and Income transcript I got from IRS. I figure it will maybe be ready by interview.

Anyone run into this situation of not having return transcripts for all years.

And just to clarify I know u may wonder why I include 2008. I wanted to show I dd make dang good money before the economy went south. 2009 was 7 weeks of work. 2010 was better 7 months. 2011 I spent half the year with husband in his country no only unempoyment.

Now I got a new job I will start July 9th that puts me way above the poverty guidelines and back where I use to be than some.

Hope I was clear. Thank you

If you filed in April and didn't owe (ie you got a refund), then your transcript should be ready. For those that owe the IRS is backed up and it will take some time for the system to catch up.

I did check friday to request a transcript the system said not available now. I owe zero and they owe me zero. Thank goodness.

The big issue is my 2009 that I better file tomorrow goodness. And I owe $200. But maybe long as I have all the forms I files and the wage income transcript I got from IRS I should be okay.

Just wasn't sure about if I had tax transcripts for some years and not others. Even though I know 3 years isn't required to file at NVC correct. But I will when they see those low amounts. As far as current that will be no problem new job blessed me above and beyond. Just in time. Figure by interview time should have a few pay stubs also.
