Hello,

I have been been approved (NOA2) and I am waiting for the NVC and I want a head start on packet 3. Is the following list of requirements accurate?

1--2 copies of DS-156 with my Thai fiancee's information

2--DS-156K with her information

3--DS-230 Part I for her

4--I-134 with supporting financial information showing support from me

--Is tax return showing income and letter from employer enough or is bank letter and bank statements required?

5--Thai passport

6--2 2x2 photos as described

7--Police Certification. Should she do this now or wait for letter from Bangkok Embassy?

8--Medical Clearance from approved doctor in Bangkok

9--Divorce Documents for me. She has never been married so she does not need the. Does she need a copy of mine?

Is there anything else?

Thank you

Looks about right but I would suggest heading over to your local sub forum for your country as things become extremely country specific after NOA2. There may be additional things you should send or some advice that might help things along.

Petition passes thru NVC pretty quickly for K1s. NVC forwards to BKK consulate section. Consulate is across the street from embassy.Transfer takes a few days. Embassy houses visa section. Submit P 3 anytime you are sure visa section has case. No need to wait for notification.

134 support-- Best to add tax transcript rather than return. If return attach every supporting documeny filed.

Police report --- Obtain prior to sending in P 3. Its good for 6 months I think. Takes a few weeks to get.

Medical --- Can be done one day prior to interview if that works for her timing. Hospital finishes everything same day. She leaves with paper work. Save some money by having her get shots from local doctor.
