So GC expired but still no noa1?

I sent my ROC packet approx 3 weeks tomorrow but today was the day my GC expired! I'm very worried about what will happen and have not received anything from uscis. I don't know what to do. As far as I know I did everything correctly and in my power but still nothing from uscis. What should I do?

Have you been able to check if they took the money for it yet?

If they haven't taken the money yet then I would call and find out whats up.

Did you send it with some sort of delivery confirmation so that you know what day it was delivered to the service center?

If the check was cashed then you ought to be receiving the NOA1 soon ,which extends the GC validity for a year.

If it hasn't been cashed then the package could be coming back to you.

This wont help at all, but I am just wondering - the ROC window of opportunity is a 3 month period... you certainly did send your ROC package within that period as required by USCIS, but why did you wait until just 3 weeks to the expiry date?

Hopefully you did mail it at least with a delivery confirmation slip. You should be able to track it and know where it is. Missing the 90 day period (even if by returned package) could be disastrous, to say the least. The 90-day period [also] cushions against eventualities like returned or even lost mail.

Wish you the best and hope USCIS got your package before your GC expires. Assuming they did, you certainly should get the extension NOA this week.

I had to wait till 3 weeks because of divorce issues and complications with package and evidence. I sent it using money order with delivery confirmation. They recieved it the day after. I even have the name of the gentleman who signed for it. This week should be it, if not then I will contact them for a follow up. Who knows, I was just seeking some advice and thank you all for it so far.

It took them 3 weeks to cash our check and we got the NOA1 31 days after we sent the package (!). You can call at 30 days and ask about the letter, or you can make INFOPASS and get a stamp in your passport. Have you joined the June Filers thread to compare your progress? That might give you some idea if your delay is normal or not, compared to others.

As long as they received it within that 90-day window of opportunity, [and you have the tracking/confirmation info]... then no need to worry about it. NOA/Extension will be forthcoming pretty soon. If you have t travel before it comes, then try what Harpa suggested above.
