Can you belive my hubby has his visa in hand already??? HE got approved on the 20th and last night I decided to just check the info visa web site, where it tells you if you visa is on its way on DHL. Well it had already arrived onthe 22th!!! :hehe: WOW that was fast!!

So now I have a question once my hubby goes to the usa (port of entery will be Houston) we will turn in the envelope ...does anyone have any idea how long that takes?

It says on the form that he will recieve a stamp of evedince of recidency valid fr one yr until he gets his greencard. My question is can we go back to mexcio and then come back to Houston again just using the stamp or his visa which is valid til Dec 2012?

We had a similar experience...my wife got her visa a couple days after her interview, much faster than we thought it would be.

Your husband can use the temporary stamp / sticker page on his passport to enter and re-enter the US as much as he wants. Once he has the actual green card, he'll use that instead.

My wife lived along the border, so she used her temporary sticker to cross back and forth several times while waiting for her flight to come back to Philadelphia. Where we live now. Your husband should bein good shape! Just don't open that sealed envelope! :)

7 Mar 2011 - Mailed the I-130 package

12 Nov 2011 - Became a U.S. resident (+250 days)

18 Sep 2017 - Sworn in as a U.S. citizen (+2137 days)
