So, I was looking at some of the codes, and i don't understand them...some seem to be redundant. Does anyone know what some of these codes would be used for? I have a feeling some of them are obsolete, for example "Applicant of Suspension of Deportation"... if I remember correctly, that was before IRIIRA of 1997 when the word "deportation was still used". Now "removal" is used in place of "deportation", am I right? Could someone who knows clear up what these codes mean? I've always wondered about that, and I never got around to asking. Thanks!!!!!

Deferred Action (C-14)

Deferred Enforced Departure (A-11)

N-8 or N-9 Non-immigrant (A-7)

Granted Withholding from Deportation or Removal (A-10)

Applicant for Suspension of Deportation (C-10)

Final Order for Deportation (C-18)
