I wish you the best of luck. Yes, I believe life works in mysterious ways.

It scares people quickly when they think of the responsibility, but you'll find this one person.

I also use VJ timeline to get an rough idea on the interview set date from date of case complete at NVC. Use the filter to filter out to your country, visa type to specific need and click on the arrow up/down on the interview column to sort out the date. For my country didn't have much only a few so I didn't get far.......

Called NVC this AM. Got through right away. Nothing yet. Didn't expect anything. Just the urge to call because

the Boston situation got me all shaken. :crying:

They did changed the date they received my I-130. Instead the 11th I was told it was the 8th.

I will call this Thursday as my intent.

This makes it 9 working days from the 8th on.

This is good news.

I call Thursday to see if its entered.

Yours just seemed to have gotten there yesterday.

Might wait till next week. Seems real early calling this week again.

I say they get things done within 10 working days.

Neto...you need to use the filter and sort out example: IR-1, Country Sri-lanka after that look at the column Interview that have arrow up/down click on it, this will sort out ascending/descending date. Now this is where you look at others from case closed ===> interview date will give you an ETA of your country.

can't type today  ....Yep edit by...bla...bla.

I hoping for mid may for case closed at NVC. They just received my AOS on 4/12 and DS230 on 4/17 which is today, I will still have to wait at least another 2 weeks (10 working business days) for both packages to be reviews and decided if they're going to give me a checklist or not, if not case is closed otherwise it would be another additional 3 weeks back/forth and won't be complete until end of May.

Once case is closed I assume/guess will take at least a month to get an interview date from NVC (for me) and once I get notification it's another 2 months from the date set (that's 3 months total from time of case closed). That is what I saw from others previous VJ's using the VJ timeline search, problem is, there isn't many people from my country is on VJ so I don't really know exact ETA will be, at this time just assuming by reading others on NVC april thread.

If your country have electronic filing it much better and quicker than snail mail not sure Germany is on the list. You should be getting your Case# by the end of this week or early of Next week (Monday, Tuesday is latest) so get ready.

Sounds soooooooo long when you write this down. Do you feel you get a checklist? If you do you should have send everything correct in the first place. Just kidding. It will run smooth.

I thought you can travel after interview date. I was told to leave my passport with pre-paid envelope. They will return it with approval stamp. (I say approval, don't want to think any other way). Does this take really this long?

My country has no electronic filing. But I say I still be good. DS3032 runs through email. I have on-line payment portal and the I-864 is one paper through email. Its the DS230 I need to send with DHL. But with case number and bar-code I'll send it immediately. (Even if payment hasn't gone through). The medical I do after I got the case number. (Its good for 12 month)

With my writing I just try to assure myself.

Have I forgotten anything???

i'm back... i'm happy for all of you who already sent their AOS and Packet IV to NVC, but for me... just today, my husband finally filled up the I-864 form and my sis will send her documents tomorrow... and we still have to wait until saturday to receive it... still waiting for my husband to pay for the other bill... i'm so upset that my case has been delayed not bcoz of obtaining the docs just because of the amount of time and attention they're giving... i cant wait to end this... i'll just be the one who will send the IV packet directly from Phil... :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:
