June 2012 I-130 Filers?

Timeline

This is my second time around for the Green Card. Held my GC for the past 20 years. Never leaving the US until my father got sick and passed away. I stayed out too long. I sit in Germany with one suitcase, hoping to return home eventually. Miss my children. Second time around feels scarier. I have everything to lose if I don't get approved. Got all the papers ready, but lose faith at times. What if someone just likes to decided against my returning. This situation takes emotional energy. My first Thanksgiving alone, most likely Christmas too. The timeline keeps jumping more back than forward. No longer sure its correct.

I guess this thread has traction now, I'm June 8th. I had started different one for us vsc filers since csc was going so fast. By now it looks like its only us that are June and still waiting.

Today is the 12th, but a Federal Holiday. I've reached the 5 month. I don't dare to make an inquire, afraid my papers end on the bottom. I followed this thread throughout the beginning. Want to Thank you all. Its good knowing I'm not alone in the waiting process. Still don't understand. The timeline moved back to April 28. How can I figure the true time?

Hi!

Yes, I gotta say, that I'm very happy to have joined VJ since sometimes drives me crazy this long wait, and at least I know that I am not alone, there are many people also apart from their husbands and wives during the process, like me and my husband, and somehow that kinda emotionally helps!

Well I don't know how to figure the true time out...but my timeline has been moving back and forth, today it says: Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between November 18, 2012 and December 25, 2012*. ....haha that's a window of 30+ days!, back in time it was a window of 1 or 2 weeks, WEIRD

Does anybody know why timeline moves back?

Good luck!!

Does anybody know why timeline moves back?

The timelines don't move. A timeline is updated when a member is given NOA2 or has some sort of contact with USCIS or NVC or the consulate.

The processing times are updated when the members of the forum update their timelines, and these produce an estimated average processing time. These change because when individuals update their timelines they give new information to the average processing times, and new information usually changes the average of those processing times.

The processing times move backwards and forwards depending upon how quickly VJ members are approved.

I just got off the phone with a level 2 officer and they are still saying that VSC is still working on may 14th, was told the same thing Nov. 5th, and that I can't put a service request in. (Our PD is June 4th)

I am starting to get pretty annoyed by these people.

Freaking ridiculous!!!

Just filled the e-request. Computerized, tells me my processing is still within their timeline. My PD is June 12th.

Nice to know I'm at least in their computer system.

Hello!!

How do you fill an e-request? I have read that some people ask for a Service request, and I wonder if an E-request is the same thing as the service request??

Have a nice weekend!!
