Thanks Lisa, im sure it'll happen for you soon.

It was literally the heart skipping a beat, I saw the e-mail and for a second paniced that it would be a denial, but no.

Off to NVC we go :D

Called USCIS today to file a service request as today is the 5 month 1 day mark. I was told that VSC is still working on May and it will be about 20 days till they get to my petition, PD June 4th. So

Congrats Cesar & Cata!! Hopefully we will be hearing something in the next few days. Our PD is June 4th!! But when I called they wouldn't let me put a SR in as they were supposedly 20 days behin

DCF is Direct Consular Filing. Where the USC lives abroad and the I-130 is therefore sent to the USCIS field office at the local consulate. Much MUCH quicker than filing to USCIS in the States.

awwww...im soooo happy everyone is getting approved, but some how kinda feel jealous...uscis says my case is still in background check...anyway its in Gods hands....

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Congrat!!! Welcome aboard to next level of waiting game (NVC). So far it take a week for NVC to received your case than another 3 weeks to entered in the system before the race even begin. Good part about NVC is that hours of operation open from 8AM-12AM (midnight eastern time :blink: ) so we have plenty of window to call in even just before bed time too :rofl:

I hope the last 2 Recl12 and Sonjat will get there approval within this week or next, that mean all June filer filed at Vermont center officially done and no one has left behind.

I would say the next process at NVC is in reverse orders....unlikely like first stage of USCIS sit tight and wait, NVC now wait for us, that mean how fast petitioners can submit in their requested documents. So let's the race begin............. start making calls :lol:

Not me! still waiting.......was told to call back this up coming Wed 27th, by than they should have some news. There are people who got approval in late Feb still awaiting for case# & IIN. Waiting game carry on to next level of course and so the load of backlog approval apps, must be tons.

Hey, I have one good news.

I've changed our address in the US to an POBOX circa 2 days ago.

This time around VSC accepted and updated the address. :thumbs:

Now please bring on my approval, and everything can be send to our correct address.

One step at a time. It sure feels good to have something done. :thumbs:
