Okay, so I did the thing where I looked at numbers on either side of ours - 20 in either direction. Not all of them are for the same type of petition, so it's hard to really be certain, but with the exception of the two cases immediately preceding mine (and mine), all 40 of those cases are either resolved (some back in Aug-November because they were for different categories) or have RFEs, from as recent as yesterday. Our PD is July 31, so it looks like they have the whole month pretty well covered, and that they should get to our application very very soon (oh god I hope so!).

My dear friends... my comforters...

I just woke up.... and my husband woke me up with his phone call...

And while we are on the phone, the both of us received an update...

A text for him, an email for me...

VioooOOOOOlah! The message goes this way, "

On March 6, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I cant describe the happiness that I am feeling now but my mother is currently crying and getting emotional that soon I'll be leaving. I;m the youngest and the last daughter staying with them so I understand how she feels. But my life has to move on, to be with my own family. Thank you dear Lord.

May those who are still waiting will receive some light.

This is so nice. Congratulation. Yes, it will be emotionally leaving- to be with your own family. I hope when all is settled you have your chance to visit with your mom. Good luck.
