Well weve just had a case status for an RFE.... no idea what for, I know we included all the evidence they ased for. *sigh* more time wasted!

No thats actually a good thing means they are working on your case...i'd feel better if i had a RFE than to be sitting, you get on that RFE right away!

I would think that the fact that a birth certificate with additional information concering ones birth would have made it easier to sort since place of birth and mother's maiden name ETC...is included on the certificate....

Birth certificate isn't needed at I-130 stage. lol. But I think civil servant answered my question. Thank you.

Don't worry.....RFE mean good thing and you're not in the bottom of the pile, instead of instant approval by now you're delay for few more week. It probably something you forgot to submit on the checklist ???. I usually make 2 copied of everything I submitted to USCIS and triple check everything.

FYI -

By submitting more papers than what required on checklist will just delay the process per USCIS instruction of each application. @CS, Obvious, this is not your case.

If thats the case, then that may well be what our RFE is about. If its something that simple then so much the better!

You said that you got an RFE, and your still waiting past the other peoples processing time? Thats not a good sign for us....

Wow... I'm awake now.

Yes..I am the beneficiary/or the applicant

My daughter is the petitioner.

I have no GC. I stayed out too long (due to my fathers death)

I personally couldn't bring it over my heart to leave him to die alone.

I filed a I-407, to start the whole process.

When I say my life is in the USA, than I mean it.

I know no one here, and have nothing here.
