Hello everyone! I have not commented on this Forum but have been keeping up with it almost daily and thank you for all that you post. This has been a very long 8 months. But being Canadian, it is easier for me to travel to see my spouse than it is for most of you.

I know you don't want to hear this, but I received notification of approval today (Feb 25, 2013). My NOA1 date is June 29, 2012. Just received the email and am jumping around doing the happy dance because I wasn't expecting this until late March based on how things have been looking. So, I wish you all fast approvals.

 That's awesome! I would try to take yourself off of direct consular filing, though, and that way we can track you in Igor's list.

To do this, go to where you edit your timeline and un-select the filing abroad field.

Thanks you for sharing. This is good news. Wish you well on your journey.

Approval doesn't work on first come basis. Our papers run through many hands,

we're not made aware of how many. But they do.

It's because they have their timeline setup as direct consular filing.

I click on so many things, I look and check, and check to look again.

I am addicted to my computer. I see things, and see nothing.

Another day went by. Until another day arises.

same here... the only way i could stop checking this forum is to get out from the house... hoping again for good news tomorrow...

Yes, sorry about not logging my timeline correctly. We filed through Vermont and I have fixed my timeline so it will reflect accurately on Igor's List. I wondered why my name didn't show up on the report.

So, now I wait some more but it looks like things are happening for June! To clarify, I did previously hold a Green Card and have been married 14 years with 2 kids who are both US citizens. Not sure that makes much of a difference but I would think the approval would take less than most. Kind of a no brainer.

My fingers are crossed for you all for VERY quick approvals.

I thought the same thing. But as you noticed. Same waiting time. Same progress route. The only difference for me in the end, I get the permanent card. (Not the 2 year)
