We are June filers; got our NOA2 in August. Has anyone else that filed in June received a NOA2? I'm really surprised ours came so soon! Not complaining, I'm VERY excited--I just feel unprepared! Thank goodness for Visa Journey! Wondering if anyone else had a speedy experience as well?

You are not Vermont. This thread is for Vermont filers.

From what I understood this thread is open to ANY filers, regardless of the center. There is a specific thread for Vermont filers here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/385709-june-2012-i-130-filers-vsc/

Just to update... Called USCIS yesterday since it was the 15th day and I still had not received my RFE letter. The girl was surprisingly very nice (compared to the other 2 times I have called) and she sent an alert to the CSC and they will resend my letter. I hope it arrives quickly!

Today I finally got through to a tier two supervisor, after last week, two contractors telling me to wait 5 months; My wife's petition is already at NVC waiting on her minor son (18 mons). They hung up on me literaly. Calling again today I got a different person, and when asking how the minor petition is not moving, she finally decided to pass me on to her supervisor, who immediately said the case has a RFE for missing Birth Certificate. I rec a NOA1 by text, but funny now their communications are not working? No text, no email, and nothing in the mail either, and his status says Initial Review still.

I'd say between computers and workers, there is plenty of errs there. It would still be sitting if people hadn't suggested to keep calling for a supervisor. She said it might take till Friday to rec an email from them with instructions where to send the BC. Thanks for all the responses on my Q in the forums section about CR-1 / CR-2 petitions..

Weird. I've never heard of them doing this. Maybe someone else could comment, though. Did your petitioner send the petition to a lockbox or a consulate?
