Oh my lord im laughing soooo hard... well lets see what the next thirty days will bring

I'm not expecting much. Wouldn't be surprised if most of us had to wait another 6 months or so just to get NOA2 for the I-130. This is ridiculous.

Oh I see. Ya, VSC won't let most of us submit that type of request because they are only working on June 4th. When you try to submit it online it blocks you unless the online processing time is later than your priority date.

IF you keep trying on different day, YES it will go through and in this case almost 30 days is up.........NOTHING HAPPEN. Now if you call them and give them confirmation SR103xxxxx (play dumb  ), a lovely answer you will be received on the other line is, you're still in processing time any other question? uhmm no, "click". Back to WAITING. :ranting: And yes, it will be another 2 to 5 months for Mid june or July filers to get a NOA2. :ranting: it's beyond ridiculous.

e-Request

Confirmation

Date: 01/31/2013

Well...I got their response back from my e-request an hour ago

Sucks...

"We actively processing this case"

"However we have to perform additional review, causing a delay"

"If you don't hear from us in 6 month call"

I assume this was a generated response.

Additional review sounds weirder. Maybe I'm not who I thought I am ????

I say this was a generated response.

By using the wording "additional review" they giving themselves a way out accountability.

Imagine millions of people complaining- this wording helps them.

There isn't anything we can do. We're at their MERCY so to speak.

I'm starting to learn that time frames don't really mean much to USCIS. They seem to be more along the lines of approximate processing times and no one can hold them accountable to the times posted. It's like Ace Ventura when he goes into the Miami Dolphins dolphin tank and says, "If I don't come back in five minutes....just wait longer!" That's kind of how USCIS works, too. "If you don't hear back from us within X amount of time, call us and we'll tell you to wait longer."

You're right. This is why I feel no concern over my paperwork. They got me quiet for the time being.

You be just fine. Might not work the way you hoped for. But each route WE walk has its purpose.

Keep in mind, everyone misses one family member. Stay focused on the years to come.

Get all your papers organized and re-organized.
